What they do
WiFi Without Walls rents Starlink kits and event WiFi to campers, hunters, tailgates, event crews, and disaster-relief teams, growing from local Denver delivery toward nationwide shipping.
Rental businesses live or die on operations: activating service the day a kit ships, metering usage, chasing returns, billing overages. Off-the-shelf rental software does the calendar and none of the hard parts.
Where we leaned in
- Mapped the platform before building it, the rough map in practice: Starlink Enterprise V2, Stripe, EasyPost, and Resend, written down and decided before code.
- Built the rental platform end to end: storefront and booking, Stripe checkout, an admin, and five cron jobs that activate dishes, deactivate them, meter usage, chase returns, and bill overages. 573 automated tests behind it.
- Spun out an open-source Starlink Enterprise MCP server along the way, 55 tools behind OAuth 2.1, so any AI agent can run the same fleet the platform runs on.
